Font Selection
Much of the HTML editing software on the market and most browsers default to Times New Roman as the font of choice, when one isn't specified. While TNR is the font of choice for printed materials, studies have shown that a san serif font (as shown below) are much easier on the eyes when viewed on a computer screen.
When it comes to online viewing with lots of white space, long sentences, comparably small font size, a sans serif font is much easier on the eyes. It also looks cleaner and lends the aura of professionalism.
Also, please be considerate of the font list available to your viewers. Some people may not have the "Pepita MT" font installed. Please consider using a "Font Family" in your web design process.
One last thing to consider: invest in a book or a class to incorporate Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) into your website. This allows easy integration of the "Font Family" tag and ensures that your font won't accidentally change with the next update you make!
