Adding Sounds

There are times when adding background sounds or theme music can be effective as an enhancement to your professional presentation.  Most times, though, un-requested sounds are annoying to viewers.  Many viewers will have many browser windows open and the hunt for the offending musical page can be enough to turn your viewer into a former viewer! 

If you must use sound, please keep the file size very small.  We would be happy to discuss this with you.  Also, be considerate and offer the viewer the option of turning off the sound on your page.  While all users have the ability to mute their computer or turn off their speakers, many find such a requirement to avoid one website's intrusion to be a big turn-off.
